At the high school level at PREP Academy, students experience design work with 5 different modules offered:  Coding, Web Development, Digital Media, Robotics and 3D Printing.  With each module students apply the LAUNCH Cycle to create innovative products while applying critical thinking to meet the needs of a client.  With the TechConnect aspect, students will work with individuals from specific industry in order to learn what corporations are looking with regards to direct knowledge and experience.  

In addition, students learn valuable work-related skills to better function as a valuable employee.  Through the Critical Friends process, students present design problem for peers to review and provide solutions based on personal experience and technical knowledge.  This usually leads to brainstorming even newer ideas not thought of before.

Design Challenge
Students will be pre-assessed on the design process to measure how much or how little they know about the process.  From there, lessons can be tailored to their learning profile.  It is understood that most of our students and visual and kinesthetic learners.  Here's the actual Design Challenge student sill be pre-assessed on.
