About Mr. Fua
I was born on September 20, 1963 on a tiny little island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean called Guam. I'll let you figure out how old I am. My mother is Filipino-Spanish while my dad is Filipino-Chinese.
I was baptized Catholic and went to a Catholic school named St. Anthony School. I went to pre-school through 7th grade. It wasn't until 7th grade that my parents decided to move to the United States. My parents decided this so that me and my brother and sisters would have a better education and life.
So, on October 2, 1975, our family made the move right to Denver, Colorado. It was very different--much colder than the tropical climate I was use to.
I attended Laredo Middle School in the Cherry Creek School District in Aurora. When I had finished middle school, I went right to Smoky Hill High School. There, I studied really hard and made the honor roll every semester unti I finally graduated. There were 864 students in my senior year and I graduated in the top 6% of my class. I graduated with a grade point average of 3.9. I was involved in clubs and sports, as well as worked in the main office as a copy boy. I finally graduated in 1981 and went on to college the next year.
I was accepted into the University of Colorado, Boulder and started out studying Aerospace Engineering. I didn't like it much so I switched my major and studied Physics instead. I didn't like that as well and finally decided on studying Math. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. While I was at the university, I was also involved with the Air Force Reserved Officer Training Corps (ROTC). When I graduated, I was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Air Force.
My first and only assignment was at Los Angeles Air Force Base in California. There, I worked in Space Division on communication satellites and spy satellites. When my four years was up, I decided to come back to Colorado.
It wasn't until the year 2000, I decided to go into teaching after working in the public and private sectors over the last few years. That's how I came to work at Lake Middle School. Because I loved teaching so much, especially teaching Technology, I decided to go back to college and get a Master's degree in Information and Learning Technologies at the University of Colorado, Denver.
I now live in an old house in Denver, Colorado that was built in 1888 not too far from the school. For years now, I always believed the house to be haunted. I now have proof that it is haunted! Listen to some recordings taken by the Denver Paranormal Research Society:
